Annual HOA Dues
The SVHOA Board approved the increase of annual HOA dues to $131.00. This increase is in accordance with the SVHOA covenant that allows for a 12% annual increase to be approved by the board. The increase became effective April 1, 2011.
Neighborhood Tips
Recycling Single stream recycling is now available in the Village. This means you no longer need to separate paper from glass, cans, and plastics (labeled #1- #7). Recycling service occurs on the same day of trash pick-up. Recycling services will be every other week. (From GV Newsletter, January 2011).
Now that the containers are delivered, let's think about storing the container so there is no view from the street (except for the recycling day). Suggestions include: storing within the garage or at the side of the house. This may be time for the community creativity, so let us know about your ideas.
Hazardous Waste and large Item Pick-up
Residential hazardous waste can be picked up by calling the Village's Residential Household Waste Collection Program 1-800-449-7587. (From GV Newsletter, January 2011).
